Who are Enactus York

Enactus York is a student‑led social enterprise society dedicated to creating projects that deliver meaningful, lasting impact in our local community. Each initiative we launch is designed to become financially self‑sustaining and eventually grow beyond Enactus York; evolving into independent, full‑fledged NGOs that continue serving people for years to come.

We’re part of something bigger too. Enactus is a national and international network of student changemakers, with over 80 universities involved across the UK & Ireland alone. Every year, Enactus UK & Ireland hosts a nationwide competition celebrating entrepreneurial innovation and the real‑world impact of student‑run projects.

This year Enactus York celebrates the success of it's current two existing projects [Happy Flow Lucky & Pantry Parcels], as well as establishment of our latest project Embrace York. After competing at the regional qualifiers, we’re thrilled to announce that we have made it to the Final Top 20 for this years National competition. 

Why we need your help

Enactus York has not competed in the last 2 years, hence many of our members have not yet attended. Yet Nationals is a strong opportunity for personal growth, networking with Enactus's partner companies, and to celebrate our hardwork. 

We are hoping to raise £300 to help subsidise more students travel to attend the National competition this April (14 & 15th). If Enactus York is lucky, we will progress to the top 5 and in the case that we win, we will have the prestige to represent UoY and Enactus UK in Brazil at  the International competition later this year.

If we reach our target, any non-anonymous donors who give £10 or more will receive an email containing coverage of the event.

This will include: 

- A vlog of our students at the event. 

- A written overview of the event.

- A rundown of the top student projects.

- Secure an interview with Enactus UK, asking them your questions! (Please submit your questions with your donations).
