We are two Masters students at the University of York creating a documentary exploring life in Shetland - a place shaped by isolation, resilience and an incredibly strong sense of community. Through interviews, landscapes and personal stories, our documentary will explore what it means to call Shetland home and how communities are formed and sustained in one of the UK’s most remote environments. To make this project happen, we are aiming to raise £1,000 to help cover the essential costs of travelling to and around Shetland to capture the documentary.
