A short summary of Our project

Hi there! We are currently fundraising for our Summer Show of Jesus Christ Superstar, written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice! We are super excited to do this show, and to really do it justice we need just a little more help from you! Our show is being performed outside and while it will look and sound amazing in the space, the elements do pose a new challenge for us, so anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated, and everything donated will be used to make the show as super as possible ;) 

If you’d like to know a little more about us, we are CHMS, Central Hall Musical Society, the University of York’s Musical Theatre society! Our wonderful cast, prod and tech team are all made up of students and couldn’t be more excited to put this show together.

All of the money raised will go straight to the show to help us provide amazing visuals through our costume, set and tech. Also, if the elements decided to throw us a curve ball the money will be used for our wet weather plans, this way we will all be quite literally covered! 

If we raise £300 then we will be able to hire seating so that no one is sat on the floor watching the show! 

If we raise £500 then we can also get covering for the seats so that if it does decide to rain you all stay dry watching the performance

If we make the full £1000 our tech team will be able to deliver incredible sound and visuals with all 18 of our cast members being miced for the performance!

Please note that ANY and all donations are hugely appreciated but anyone who donates £20 or over will get their name in the program and if you donate £50 or over you get a signed program from the cast as well :))
