We're joining the Great York Walk to raise funds for Mentally Fit York at the University of York.
In the UK, up to one in four adults and one in ten children will experience a mental health problem each year. These statistics need to change.
Please donate anything you can to help raise funds to improve mental health in York and beyond!
about mentally fit York
The Great York Walk is held in aid of Mentally Fit York, which will promote good mental health on a local, national and international scale. Your support will be used to fund on the ground initiatives and the latest groundbreaking research.
This could include 24/7 mental health support for York students, Mental Health Nursing Scholarships, and research projects to further our understanding of mental health issues and the barriers to accessing support services. Your support will contribute to a range of initiatives and research projects which are decided by an expert panel of mental health and wellbeing researchers, practitioners and advocates.
