When Jane’s over-controlling father unexpectedly arrives home while her boyfriend is around, she must choose between keeping her secrets, and confronting her possessive father.
Who are WE?
We are a group of seven ambitious filmmakers with a passion for telling powerful stories. Due to the disruptions caused by Covid-19 during our time at university, we are even more passionate than ever to bring our psychological horror to life.
Our team will be working to deliver a short film full of tension. Our story will be set in an eerie modern mansion with a cold feel, which reflects the perfect-seeming relationship between Jane and her father.
A donation from you today will help to support our final project at university and we would appreciate any contribution you can provide.
Where will YOUR money go?
We need your donations to be able to create our ambitious film. Here is a budget breakdown of where your money will be going:
Locations - £700
Our story is set in a sleek, modern mansion where the bulk of the story takes place. We need your donations to secure the perfect setting for our horror film that tells the story of the claustrophobic environment that Jane is trapped in.
Production Design - £600
In order to make the house fit for Jane's father, we have allocated a large proportion of our budget towards Production Design. Your money will be used to dress the house exactly as Jane's father would want it - and buy a better version of our axe!
Travel and Accommodation - £450
We believe that it is very important to ensure that our actors are well looked after, so this money has been assigned towards a local York hotel and reimbursement of any travel costs incurred.
Catering - £300
As uni students, we know how important good food on set will be on the long February shoot days. This budget will crucially be going towards hot teas & coffees for all cast and crew!
Contingency - £250
Anything can happen on student films, so we have allocated a contingency budget for any and all issues that arise.
Specialist Equipment - £200
In order to make our dream short film, we will be using your donations to rent a wide-angle camera lens to create a sense of unease in the house.
