We’re tremendously grateful to announce that a gift, received through Richard's estate, has been left to the Richard Payne Fieldwork Bursary so that more students are able to undertake research in Richard’s areas of interest and expertise. Thanks to this gift, and the support of Richard’s family, friends and colleagues, the next generation of researchers in these areas can be assured that they have financial support available to help them thrive.

Any further gifts to this fund, however, are still welcome. We would like to give everyone the chance to offer their support to this fund in memory of Richard, but we understand that these are difficult financial times for many people.
