A HOMELESS musician shelters in the garage of a woman trapped in an abusive relationship. Through their shared love of art and music, they inspire each other to break free and start a new life.

Our film is an uplifting story of friendship and hope, about overcoming hardship and making a better life. With original folk music, beautiful painted canvases, and ambitious set design - you will be immersed in the world of 'Someday Soon'.
WHY US?
Our film is made by a talented crew of final year Film & Television Production students. Our 8 dedicated crew members have been working for months on every part of this film, and we now need your help to make 'Someday Soon' a reality.
Jack, our writer, explains why 'Someday Soon' is such an important film to make, "This is a story that shows the innate kindness that bonds us, as well as showing how there's always hope even in the unlikeliest of places".
WhY THIS FILM?
Our film covers important issues like domestic abuse and homelessness with compassion and care. We have carefully researched these topics to ensure that our characters and story are authentic and powerful.
To ensure that 'Someday Soon' has impact beyond the University, we will partner with local charities to give our film a wider release and spread our message of hope to those that need it the most. The National Centre for Domestic Abuse estimates that 1 in 5 UK adults experience domestic abuse in their lifetime - our film could not be more important.
Art and music are key parts of 'Someday Soon', so we have commissioned beautiful canvas paintings and 3 original songs to be used in our film - both of which you can take home by donating to our film below!
Where will your money go?
£900 - Production is the largest part of our budget, spent on all our original props, handpicked costumes, and specialist production equipment.
£600 - Travel/ accommodation will enable us to secure the perfect locations and attract the best actors to bring our characters to life.
£500 - Locations will allow us to visit, hire, or build the best world for our film and ensure everything looks stunning on camera.
£250 - Catering will keep our cast and crew fed and full of energy to deliver their best work over the 5-day shoot.
£250 - Contingency will allow us to adapt to unforeseen changes and last minute costs.
