Dr Adam Dawkins will be leaving the University at the end of January 2024 to take up the newly created role of Deputy Academic Registrar (Student and Academic Governance) at the University of Sunderland.

Adam joined the University of York in June 2019, initially as Head of Governance and Assurance, followed by being appointed to the new position of University Secretary in December 2020. Adam brought a wealth of governance experience and expertise with him and will be missed by all who have worked with him. We all wish him every success for the future.

About Mentally Fit York

This collection is in aid of Mentally Fit York, which will promote good mental health on a local, national and international scale. Your support will be used to fund initiatives such as 24/7 mental health support for York students and research projects to further our understanding of mental health issues and the barriers to accessing support services.

Your support may also go towards providing suicide prevention training, Mental Health Nursing Scholarships or it could contribute to a range of other initiatives which are decided by an expert panel of mental health and wellbeing researchers, practitioners and advocates.
