I'm part of a team 'walking the world' to fundraise for groundbreaking mental health research.

I NEED YOUR HELP!

I'm taking on a stage of The Great York Walk, a challenge walking event that will help to transform mental health by raising funds for Mentally Fit York at the University of York. Mental ill-health doesn't discriminate and right now, mental health has never been more important, as the economic and social implications of the Coronavirus Pandemic are revealed. So together with other walkers participating in the Challenge, I'm logging my daily steps up to the end of June 2021, to contribute a minimum of 250 miles to a 25,000 mile walking goal. That's the equivalent of a walk around the World!

Please donate anything you can to help me reach my target and to support our work to improve people's mental health.

about mentally fit york

My walking challenge is for Mentally Fit York, the programmes I'm working on with York Uni, that promote good mental health on a local, national and international scale. Your support will be used to fund initiatives such as 24/7 mental health support for York students and research projects to improve our understanding of mental health issues and how we can tackle the barriers to accessing support services.
