Help Theo get to Hong Kong for his Finance and Governance Course!

summary

I have been lucky enough to secure a Summer School placement in Hong Kong through the University of York to enrol on two courses in International Finance and Chinese Foreign Policy. The course will run for 6 weeks and I am looking to gain funding to help ensure that I can take up my placement and explore topics and a culture that I am incredibly interested in. I will be in Hong Kong from late June, through to early August.

MY details

I am a first year student at the University of York, studying PPE (Route Two), and originally from Glastonbury in Somerset. I'm 20 years old, a lover of sports, current affairs, politics, economics, and cider of course!

My story

The opportunity to go away to Hong Kong will not only let me go outside of Europe for the first time, but equally, it will act as much more than a holiday for me. It gives me the chance to attend courses abroad at a Top 10 Asian and top 100 Global University; giving me further insight into economics and politics which will further enhance me going forward in my course and set me up further when it comes to applying for internships in my later years at university. Any money raised will go towards flights and living costs; I am not looking to have a jolly on the side. You can contact me personally for a full breakdown of my trip in the course booklet if you wish or if you are apprehensive.
