D.A.N.C.E. is the hottest nightclub around. When four friends encounter a murder in the building, its many rooms may prove hauntingly troublesome.
WHAT IS THE PROJECT ABOUT?
D.A.N.C.E. is a high energy slasher-comedy that combines the thrills of horror with the hilarity of a night out gone wrong. A group of friends are forced to fight for survival as they find themselves trapped in a nightclub with a party-loving killer on Halloween night. With your support, you’ll help us to create an adventure of a film that combines dark humour, absurd kills, and totally non-stop action.
Our mission is to raise £2,500 to fund this horrifying short film. No matter the amount, every donation brings us one step closer to bringing all of our crazy ideas to life, but we can’t do it without your help!

THE TEAM
We are a team of enthusiastic filmmakers, creating our final university project that will be massively important in propelling us into the next stages of our career. Making this film will be an amazing opportunity to improve our skills, collaborate with one another, and learn new things about ourselves going into the industry. We are super eager to bring all of our knowledge and talent together to produce a film that you can have as much fun watching, as we did making it.
HOW WILL YOUR DONATIONS BE SPENT?
One thing we can absolutely promise is that your money will be well spent. We have tons of ideas on how to make the most of every penny of the £2,500 that we will potentially receive, all we need is for you to start donating!
Below is a breakdown of our budget:
Production Design: This money will go towards the best costumes, makeup, props and set dressing to create the world of D.A.N.C.E.
Locations: We’re looking for various clubs and bars to use as locations for our project, so donations will be put toward compensating these businesses for us using their facilities.
Catering: We need to provide lunches for cast and crew over the course of the week, because filmmaking is hard work, and we need sustenance!
Travel: We need to provide adequate transport options for cast and crew - this money will be used for train tickets, car travel and other forms of transportation to ensure cast and crew can arrive safely at location.
Specialist Equipment: This will cover costs of storage, SD cards, and other film equipment - all to make the project happen.
Contingencies: Contingencies fund covers any unexpected expenses, for example, our kit transport vehicle breaking down.
