Walking 25 miles over 7 days to support mental health in York and beyond

I have been working in OPPA for over ten years. In that time I have seen the amazing difference that our fundraising makes so now it my turn!

I am taking part in The Short York Walk which has been set up to raise funds for Mentally Fit York a cause that has always been close my heart and is especially important now as we work out what our new normal is in a sea of uncertainty.

I will be walking 25 miles over 7 days. It would mean so much to me if you could help me reach my target of £100.

Donations to Mentally Fit York will be used to fund amazing initiatives like the Big White Wall which offers 24/7 mental health support for York students, something I wish had been available when I was a student.

York is also providing Mental Health Nursing Scholarships, helping to ensure that the NHS is equipped to deal with the increased demand for mental healthcare as we start to become more comfortable in including discussions of mental health when we talk about our health and well-being in our communities.

Thank you
