I would like thank Dr June Namgoong for his generous support.

As a legal expert, he also gave me great insight into my interdisciplinary research in which law is, to some extent, involved.

Thanks.

I all the time thank the late Jai Hyuk Kwon, my grandfather on my mother's side. Although he is not with me here and now, through Jai Hyuk Kwon Memorial Foundation (권재혁 열사 기념사업회), I will be able to fulfill my dream, and it will be also regarded as fulfilling your dream. You studied 'foreign aid to South Korea during 1950's' when you were at Seoul National University in South Korea and Montana State University in USA, and now I am researching peacebuilding and international development on the globe with a focus on Timor-Leste. Once again, thank you for your legacy.
