As a former York Uni Astrophysics student, and treasurer of the Astronomy Society I think the astrocampus looks brilliant. I can't wait to visit when it is up and running. Nearly 10 years after my student days I am still an avid amateur astronomer. Making this sort of facility available to schools is great. We always need to inspire the next generation.
Let's hope the project is successful and the public can be involved for many years to come.
